To celebrate the last day of August, I want to share my sunflower that just bloomed a couple days ago! I grew this sunflower plant from a seed, I'm so proud :)
It also reminds me of my very favorite Van Gogh painting
I'm also excited that tomorrow is September, I have been so looking forward to Fall!

Pretty sunflower. I love them. The epitome of Summer, I think. I grew sunflowers, once, from seeds, back when I lived in Tacoma, WA. They bloomed, looked really lovely, etc. The squirrels got a hold of the flower heads and shredded them for the seeds. I was so sad. Dumb squirrels!
